LoL, chocolates too!!!!
Don't see her ever getting on the back of it though. It's hard enough to get her in the car never mind on the pillion of the bike. After being involved in a car smash a number of years ago she is very wary about any form of motorised transport. It took me ages just to get her back in the passenger seat of the car again without her bursting into tears. Have tried getting her back in the driving seat but she just can't do it.

lol u wldnae have to persuade me!
ma mum wldnae let me get a bike she thinks they are too dangerous and made me get a wee crappy 50cc scooter instead, not that i use it, lol
i woz mad when she allowed my BROTHER to get a bike, hmmm oh well
My uncle Ian's fault for introducing us to bikes in the 1st place
He has 3 at the moment
An old classic Triumph (his pride and joy)
a wee Suzuki 500 (nice wee run around)
and another one which i aint seen yet
lol the other week he was being a smart ass and went on his son's mini motorbike wearing shorts and t-shirt, he went flying off it and didn't have much skin left on his knees LOL
nutter!

Actually a bike is a lot safer than a scooter. At least on a bike you have the acceleration to have a chance of getting out of trouble. Then again sometimes it's the acceleration that gets you into trouble in the first place. Oh well!!!

Good god, you're a tough nut to crack Angel. I'll stick with 'Lish as she disnae need any persuading LoL.
Ha ha nearly got her round and it didn't cost me anything. Funnily enough she says she wants a run on the back of it....says cause she wasn't on a bike in the smash that she has no fear of it...just cars..........weird or what.

Coming off is how you learn. As long as you survive it and learn from it. I bought my very first bike at 18 and hadn't a clue how to ride it. I sat on it at the bike shop and started it up, took off across the road and went over the tow bar of a caravan....I catapulted over the handlebars and the bike followed and landed on top of me (didn't even have a helmet on). The bike went back into the shop for repair and I got a run to the hospital. The guys from the shop were good though, they fixed the bike for nothing and said to put it down to experience. That was the first of a few tumbles in my first year of riding. I learnt from them and have never had another one since (touch wood).
The trouble with being a young inexperienced rider is that you think that bikes are meant to be driven as fast as you can possibly get them to go and then (due to lack of experience) you can't control it. Nowadays I prefer a more leisurely pace.

And you have the cheek to call me a nutter...sheesh!!!!!!!
I remember a mate of mine who had big long legs and was on the pillion of another mates bike....they stopped at traffic lights and my mate stood up to stretch his legs...just as the lights changed....and he was left standing in the middle of the road as the bike took off.
