I remember the broken biscuits and spoiled fruit. We had an outdoor local swimming pool and you could spend all day in there. We went to the grocers and got our bag of broken biscuits and a bag of broken crisps to take with us along with our sandwiches. We also had many a picnic in the local park. We spent a lot of time outdoors then. Does anyone remember playing kick the can and peevers or are you all to young to remember them. Happy memories.

We can still buy broken biscuits from 'Farmfoods'. You get a big box of them for next to nothing....and most of the buscuits aren't even broken!!!!!
I remember all those old games.....which is why I get mad with my kids, with all the electronic gadgets etc that they have, when they complain of being bored....really gets my goat!!!!!!!!!!

Koala I remember the first telly we had. A friend of my dads got his second telly and he gave us his old one. It had a screen about 14 inches . We sat down at night to watch everything on it. Even the political programmes. Current Account was one of them and Panorama (by the way It is still on the telly ) I was about twelve then. I am yon age now. Golly I have satellite telly now, some nights I cannot find anything worth watching on all those channels. Too much choice now.
