Daft Memories

I was on another site with much the same name as this one. Someone has put a story on about her childhood memories in Scotland. One of the things she spoke about was the Rag and Bone man coming round the streets.
I have a friend who comes from a place called Larkhall in Scotland. It is a tough area. They say if you ever leave there, you have escaped over the wall.
This friend said that they never took rags out to the ragman, the ragman left the rags on their doorstep for them to wear. He said he went to school for a month as a KamiKazi pilot before he realised that was not the uniform, ha! ha!

Angel this is the link. come.to/oorweehoose ,but would you believe it. I think it is connected to this site. I am using my daughters computer because my broadband is down. Waited two weeks and nothing is fixed yet. I have ' OOR WEE HOOSE ' in my favourites at home on my computer I wanted to access it on this computer, so I put 'OOR WEE HOOSE' into search and it came up with this link. Some really good stories on it.
