Subject: Exercises for everyone!
Just came across this exercise suggested for seniors, (but it would work for anyone), to build muscle strength in the arms and shoulders. It seems so easy, so I thought I'd pass it on. The article suggested doing it three days a week. How to do it:
Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.
With a 2kg potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides, and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, then relax. Each day, you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 5kg potato sacks.
Then try a 10kg, and work up to 25kg potato sacks, and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 50kg potato sack in each hand and holdyour arms straight for more than a full minute.
After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks: but be careful.

When I went to lunch today, I noticed an old lady sitting on a park bench sobbing her eyes out. I stopped and asked her what was wrong. She said, "I have a 22 year old husband at home. He makes love to me every morning and then gets up and makes me pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and freshly ground coffee." I said, "Well, then why are you crying?" She said, "He makes me homemade soup for lunch and my favorite brownies and then makes love to me for half the afternoon. "I said, "Well, why are you crying?" She said, "For dinner he makes me a gourmet meal with wine and my favorite dessert and then makes love to me until 2:00 a.m." I said, "Well, why in the world would you be crying?" She said, "I can't remember where I live!"
