Hello folks, I am Justin of Oz. I live in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, a truly magic spot where the mountain goes clear through the sky.
I am retired and spend much of my time on this infernal machine communicating my deepest repressions and idioms to any who will listen to my inept ramblings.

I love your choice of forums. ProBoards is definitely one of the best around, and very versatile. I see that UKResident beat me here. I came from Satman's forum to see what all the fuss was about. I'm glad I came. Truly a great wee site. Congratulations!

Hello again to all, I had a thought, (It happens now and then). I didn't tell much about the area in which I live. It truly is a magic spot on the North coast of NSW in Oz, just near the Gold Coast. I live in the caldera of an extinct (I hope) volcano the central plug of which is Mount Warning. Called Wollumbin by the local Aboriginal folk, it is the first place on the Oz continent where the sun touches the trees each day. The area is a fertile sub-tropical region where sugar cane, bananas, paw-paws and mangos thrive, along with anything else that likes the warmer climates. The soil is so fertile that we have to be careful not to drop our potato peels, we'd have potatoes everyehrer before long.

I first came here some thirty years ago and saw the magic in the place, in fact it is one of the few places where magic first reaches down to the earth from the heavens.

I have moved to this area to retire and enjoy my painting and a few other strenuous hobbies. If you wish to have a look at the kind of place I live in you can see a picture of it HERE.
