I've actually not been around the the net much at all lately.....other things been demanding my time. Probably won't be around much for a wee while yet either....loads of diy to do around the house now that the school holidays are nearly upon us.

Will try to pop in as much as possible though......promise.

One wee bit of news....been off the cigarettes for just over a week now.....much easier than I thought it would be....so far!

Aye cheers angel and koala...........determined this time. Gave up twice before...once for 4 yrs and once for 2 yrs. Couldn't believe it when i went to the docs and she rhymed off a whole load of things to help with giving up. I stuck wi the gum........."what flavour would you like?" she said. There's flavours?...last time I stopped there was just plain nicotine gum.....now there is a multitude of flavours. Anyway, since it was there I chose liquorice. Off I trotted to the pharmacy to pick it up......

"sorry sir but we don't have any of that flavour, we will have to order it in, come back in 2-3 days"

Wot!

"just give me any flavour it disnae matter, i only chose that 'cos it was available but i'm no bothered really"

"canny do that sir.....if it says liquorice on the prescription then liquorice it is"

"don't be ridiculous I'll have lost the will to give up in 3 days"

Anyway, I made it through the three days and am still off them
