Dont know what happened to my previous letter. Part of it is missing. I will start again. I come from a place called Helensburgh in Argyll and Bute. I am recently a widow. I have three grown up children and one granddaughter. Is the site always as quiet as this?

Sorry ah hivnae been aboot fur a while bit we're babysittin while ma wee granddaughter is in hospital.
Ah'm Johnny originally frae Clydebank bit been in Canada thirty-two years. Six weans an thirteen granweans (ma sons wife in Calgary hid a wee lassie Alexandra last month)
Wee Maddie is daein well, they hiv her in the pool at Sick Kids hospital an she kin walk short distances. Gettin tae bend it better noo, the chemo will finish in June. She is coming hame tae go tae school wan or two days a week dependin oan how she feels.
She is going tae dae well.

I am laughing at the Scottish patter on here. I live in Scotland and I do not talk like that.
What is wrong with Maddie ? What a terrible treatment for a child to go through. I wish her all the luck in the world Johnny.
I go shopping to Clydebank often. My! have you been busy. Were all your children born out there?
I am one of six girls. All my sisters have lots of grandchildren . Too numerous for me to count.
Angel are you having me on? Is your sister really called Koala, and if so, are there many more poor folk given that name down under.
Bed time here now. Must go.
I hope to hear from you both again.

Maddie 5, real name Madeline has bone cancer an hid the femur and knee removed. The story is oan the posts, quite a few pages. As ah said, daein well noo.
All ma kids were born in Scotland and we brought them to Canada in 1974.
We talk this wey because it brings back auld memories.

Johnny, what a lot that poor wee soul has been through for such a young age.
My husband went through radio therapy and I know how much that knocked the cod out of him. Chemo is even harder on the person.
What a lovely wee baby Johnny.
Angel I did realise that the name Koala was a name for a type of bear but there are some folk daft enough to call their child that. My peejam name comes from my initials P J. When my niece was small she could not say pyjamas,she always said peejamas,so when I wanted an internet name that sprung to my mind. Daft how the mind works sometimes, ha! ha!
I will pop in and out of here to see if any of you have posted. I must tell my family about the board.

I made the mistake yesterday of only signing myself in here as peejam. Now I cannot post as peejampat, my registerED name. I signed in as peejampat on the last letter and it said someone was registered as that already. I had to post as peejam again.THAT IS ME!!!! HELP. If you see peejam or peejampat that will be me.
I will need a philadelphia lawyer to sort this out ha! ha!
