Maddie in fur her next chemo session. Maist o her hair is gone an the rest wull be gone in a few days. She his her cheery disposition tae keep aw wur chins up. Telt me not tae shave ma heid cause ah wis getting auld an it might no cum back.
Friends an neighbours hiv been fantastic an even folk who jist heard aboot her hiv been sendin cards an wee gifts tae the hoose. An author o children's books sent a collection o aw hurr books wi a wee personal message in every wan fur Maddie.
Keep up the prayers folks.

bit ah ken sumtimes it's nice jist tae leave ah wee post an ken yur far awa pals ur sending ye thur prayers an best wishes fur Maddie's speedy recovery!
Whit ah thochtful wee Angel she is tae tell ye no tae shave yur heid.... in case yur twa auld fur it tae grow back! An hur feelin sae sick anaw.
Bairns.... they keep hings in purspective dae they no......
Will continue tae send healing and Prayers an lightin a candle fur Wee Maddie and awe yur Faimily.

 This is Maddie taken earlier today, as you see in a giggly mood. We just got back from a fundraiser put on by friends and neighbours. There must have been 350-400 people there at $10 per head. The banquet hall was given free, the DJ offered his services free, the food was supplied by family and friends and door and raffle prizes by local business's. There was a bar with beer and wine and folks just couldn't do enough. There was an auction of many items donated and handcrafted items sent by local artisans. Maddie came with her Mum and Dad to say thanks to everyone and captured many more hearts. Prayers are working fine, keep it up and Thanks. |

Ah coodny believe it when ah heard the result o the fundraiser fur Maddie ---- almost fifteen thousand dollars wis raised. Folks really urr kind-heartit and ah know that it will take that an merr tae see the family through the times ahead but ah'v nae doubt that they wull get therr wi the help o family an freens like they hiv, As they say, strangers urr only freens ye hivnae met yet an that wis proved last Friday.
